about

the story of park city artist kent youngstrom's journey from graphic design, interior design and exhibit builder to full time artist.

artists bio’s generally suck.

they list a bunch of achievements you wouldn’t recognize.

name drop in a seemingly casual way - and

are often written to impress gallery owners and art critics that pretend to understand words the rest of us don’t use.

so yeah - i’ve painted for some people you know or have seen on tv. or seen singing on stage.

i’ve collaborated with companies you’ve purchased from and spent a lot of time trying to climb those ladder rungs.

but i’ve come to realize the most important part of my bio is you.

artist. not in the art world.

jesus. not in the church.

underdog. not afraid of the big bad wolf.

labels. we don't need 'em.

i’m kent and i’m an artist.  absolutely the tortured kind.

i am on a mission to make the walls of your home, office, and hopefully your secret lair as fantastic as you are.
