stronger than you think
what do i call this painted poem?
stronger than you think
24 x 36
why did i paint this?
in a man' splaining era, we man save our movie scripts.
end of scene . . . two women in local bar, low lights, focused on women and softer lighting on female bar tender. bar at about 1/3 capacity.
woman with bruised and rough dirt marks, " it was so cool. he was shot twice and even stabbed, and then he rescued me by untying the knot! i just couldn't get it. and whoa, it was a double knot!"
dear script writers,
boo.
and dude. . .
women are so much stronger than they are portrayed. stop it. now.
is it framed?
it certainly can be, yes. all frames are made of up-cycled construction site leftovers. i would love to include a frame on all of them all, however ... it's just me and the increasing demand for the frames is more time than i have allotted.
so, the price listed is with frame, select "gallery wrapped canvas only," if you would like to hang with painted edges or would like a frame that better compliments you aesthetic.
can i paint you something similar?
probably not maybe, but change is uncomfortable. and i've found repeating an original idea postpones kent from finding himself.
